Microwave-assisted 3D Printing of Continuous Carbon Fiber Reinforced Spatial Lattice Structures (CCFSLS) for Concrete Enhancement

The focus of MWPrint4ReCon is the development of a robot-based manufacturing process for large-scale continuous fiber-reinforced three-dimensional skeletal structures using a microwave-based print head. In the application as concrete reinforcement, the manufactured components are to be examined within the framework of the project for their usability as a replacement for conventional steel reinforcements. The robot-assisted process should enable a higher degree of freedom in the geometry of the concrete reinforcement, so that reinforcements can be implemented more easily in the future, even for complex concrete structures.
